Well it's slowly leaking out, a couple of tracks from the new Oasis album have appear on t'internet. My thoughts on them here:
Mucky Fingers: Noel sung, 2 cord rocker. Instantly liked this one, great bit off mouth organ going on. Well worked lyrics good lead up to Lyla. 9/10
Meaning of Soul: Fast and furious heavy acoustic guitars whip through this song that lasts less than 2 minutes, good stomper though. Would score higher if it was longer. 8/10
Keep the Dream Alive: Took me a while to warm to this one but is probably the most musical from the bunch. Reminds me of Stone Roses but sounds nothing like them. 8/10
Let There Be Love: After hearing the 2000 demo of this one I didn't know what to expect but I love this one, maybe needed a little more production but Liam & Noel singing on this make it a stand out track. 9/10
Know The Real You, Draw A Pig

Rock 'n' Roll With Drinks

Well it was meant to be a pub quiz after work today, sounds fun but I'm sure its really not. Anyway, we took one look at the place noticed it was nothing like a pub more of a bar and went round to Mr Tom's Chop house for a drink instead.
Feeling guilty we decided we should go the pub quiz to at least show our faces and of course drink the free beer. After that, myself and John went off for some proper drinking and to watch Terrorvision.
Got a tout to give me a ticket for £25 (I was a bit drunk) then went in and got totally deaf, then headed out to rock world for some moshing! Work tomorrow, living the dream.
13 hour session

Completed a 13 hour drinking session yesterday for Vinnie's stag do... ace night out 4.30pm till 5.30am.
Managed to pack in some hardcore drinking and a bit of eating. Although we all know "eatin's cheatin" so the less said about that the better.
Anyway, I even managed to pull off 'Spice Up Your Life' with John in the Chinese karaoke at about 1.30am. The place didnt know what hit it!
Lyla Video Airs

The new Oasis video for the new single Lyla aired on Channel 4 tonight. I've got a couple of screen shots from it here for you to check out.
Starts off with a really cool black and white sequence with who you assume is Lyla, before kicking in with the full group shots. The whole thing is based around some dodgy dance in the girls garage while the band plays.
Influences of Eyes Wide Shut and Alice In Wonderland, spring to mind. Future number 1.

I start work at 6am tomorrow morning! I don't know if I can make that, I didn't know 6am even existed, I thought it was a myth.
Mad busy in work today about 7 people was off so it was all hands to the pump to get things sorted.

All Day Session

Manchester, started off early in a dirty little pub not too far away from work.
Carried on into the wee small hours of Sunday morning and I collapsed in a heap on my bedroom floor. So I'm told anyway, I can't remember much about that bit.
All good fun though, gotta keep hardcore, next drink session next Friday.

Go out, get drunk. Oldham tonight, Manchester tomorrow on an all day session. Beer, beer, beer.
